Easy-to-make treat for chocoholics. They will be extremely happy and content:)
120 ml vegetable oil
80 ml sour cream
170 g all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons dark cocoa powder
100 g granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
70 g chocolate chunks
50 g chocolate for the glaze, if desirable
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a deep bundt pan (Ø 14cm) with vegetable oil.
- Stir oil and sour cream. Add the eggs and mix well. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, bicarbonate of soda reacted with lemon juice. Whisk until smooth. Add chocolate chunks. Pour the batter in the bundt pan and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean. Leave to stand for 5 minutes, then remove from pan and allow to cool on a wire rack.
- For the glaze: melt chocolate and spread it onto the cake. Slice and serve.
