Easy fruit & berry oatmeal (vegan)

The oatmeal belongs to the category ‘easy-peasy’. I like it in many forms, creating lots of new mixes in the summertime. You can add nuts/seeds/fruit you like. It’s an endless experiment!

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats
1 banana
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp üzüm pekmezi (turkish grape molasses)/maple syrup
handful of gooseberries
handful of bilberries
handful of black currants
pinch of salt
dash of freshly ground cloves

Method

Soak the oats in hot boiled water, set aside for 5 minutes. Slice the banana. Mix in olive oil and salt to the oatmeal. Add banana slices and berries. Pour grape molasses or any other syrup on top, sprinkle with a dash of ground cloves. Voilà!:D Serve!
