Green “hot” smoothie (vegan)

Vitamin-and-mineral-rich smoothie to start up your day. Fresh ginger increases digestive fire, it’s like a warm hug from the inside out:) This is not a sweet type of a smoothie. Depending on preferences, you can add a green apple and some natural syrup.

Ingredients

2 small cucumbers (or 1 large)
1 cm fresh ginger
2 slices lemon
5 stems fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup water

Method

Peel the cucumbers and ginger [or do not peel – it’s individual preference]. Chop the cucumbers, ginger and lemon (and an apple, if desirable). Place all the ingredients in a blender cup. Pulse until smooth. Pour into glasses. Enjoy!DSC05059logoDSC05077_logo2DSC05085_logo2
